Invazor C!!!

El 15 de abril del 89 ocurrió una de las tragedias más increíbles de la historia del fútbol. En el estadio de Hillsborough murieron 96 aficionados del Liverpool FC.

Las causas, simplemente mala organización, un estadio en mal estado, negligencia policial y posteriormente una campaña de injurias por parte del The Sun – a partir de entonces uno de los diarios que menos vende Merseyside.

David Duckenfield, superintendente del estadio es el señalado por todos como el responsable directo de la tragedia, culpable de cuanto menos negligencia.

Hasta el momento no se ha llegado a una explicación satisfactoria de los hechos. Los familiares de los casi 100 aficionados muertos y de los mas de 750 heridos se niegan a aceptar la hipótesis del accidente. Lo que es innegable es que esta tragedia ha marcado la personalidad del club y de todo el fútbol inglés.

El video es un reciente homenaje a las victimas, una nueva versión de The Fields of Anfield Road con participación de algunos de los futbolistas mas representativos del club (están Aldridge, Kenny Dalglish y Grobelaar, entre otros)
